Everett Martinez is an attorney with experience representing issuers, underwriters and banking investors in a variety of public financing transactions and routinely served as bond and disclosure counsel for school districts, special districts, transportation authorities, local governments and hospitals. He successfully developed and sustained relationships with each of his clients.  With his client relationships, broad experience and education at the Harvard Law School, he has successfully helped clients finance in excess of $1 billion for public projects in the state of Colorado. 

 

REPRESENTATIVE TRANSACTIONS

  • Counsel to the City of Aurora in structuring a $68,540,000 leasing purchase transaction through Certificates of Participation.
  • Counsel to the E-470 Highway Authority in the remarketing of over $435,000,000 from Auction Rate to Fixed and Term Rate Bonds.
  • Counsel to multiple hospital and medical clinics in the Rocky Mountain Region in structuring 501(c)3 bond transactions and lease purchase agreements.
  • Counsel to water and sewer enterprises for financing transactions in excess of $50,000,000 million.
