Mary Groves is a leader in public finance throughout the Rocky Mountain region. With more than 30 years' experience, she advises clients in the areas of tax-exempt finance as bond counsel, borrower's counsel, trustee's counsel, bank counsel and underwriter's counsel.
Ms. Groves has been lead counsel in a broad range of traditional and conduit public financings, including projects for private schools and colleges and senior housing. She also represents banks in letter of credit and liquidity transactions and has worked extensively with healthcare providers, charter schools, cultural institutions and faith-based service providers.
Ms. Groves has worked with a variety of financing structures, including fixed and variable rate bonds, master trust indentures, certificates of participation and financings involving special purpose entity corporations. She is called by many non-Colorado borrowers who use the multi-jurisdictional authority of Colorado's statewide health and education issuers.
